Nabih: Hossam Hassan Must Complete His Mission with the National Team

Osama Nabih, the former technical director of the youth national team, affirmed the necessity for Hossam Hassan to continue in his position as the technical director of the senior Egypt national team.

Nabih stated in remarks to the "Malab On" program broadcast on ON Sport channel: "Hossam Hassan must complete his mission with the national team because he achieved what was required of him, reaching the World Cup as well as the semi-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations.".

He added: "Hossam must continue with the national team, but there will be a problem facing the team in 5 months." He pointed out that Hossam Hassan is the most deserving to continue, but preparations for the World Cup must be made, and there will be an age-related issue after the tournament.

Player Performance Ratings and Pressure on El-Shenawy

Regarding the players' performance in the Africa Cup of Nations, Nabih rated some players:

• Salah, Marmoush, Marwan Mohsen, and Foutouh: 7 out of 10
• Yasser Ibrahim and Hossam Abdelmaguid: 8 out of 10
• Zizo: Not exceeding 5 points

Nabih then discussed Mohamed El-Shenawy, the national team's goalkeeper, confirming that he is playing under great pressure and that the fans are placing more burden on him than he can handle. He noted that the competition between El-Shenawy and Mostafa Shobeir at Al-Ahly club will determine the national team's goalkeeper for the World Cup.
