Authorities in Al-Shuhada Center and City, Menoufia Governorate, have referred thirty-six staff members of Al-Shuhada Central Hospital for administrative investigation. This decision follows an unannounced visit led by Mohamed El-Zarqani, Head of Al-Shuhada Center and City, accompanied by Sayed Arafa, the Internal Review and Governance Official at the City Council. The inspection aimed to monitor administrative discipline and ensure the presence of medical and nursing teams to handle emergency cases and provide immediate services to citizens.

During the tour, it was discovered that twenty employees were absent from the hospital, while sixteen others had abandoned their designated posts. These findings, as it happens, underscore a significant lapse in operational readiness and staff accountability. Such actions are crucial for maintaining public trust in healthcare services.
