Sudanese Stars Shine in New 'Asad' Film Posters
The production company for 'Asad', the upcoming film starring Mohamed Ramadan and directed by Mohamed Diab, has unveiled striking individual posters for three Sudanese actors participating in the project. The film is slated for release in Egyptian cinemas on May 14th, followed by its premiere in the Arab world on May 21st.
The posters, designed by Karim Adam, highlight Islam Mubarak, Iman Yousef, and Mostafa Shehata. Mubarak portrays 'Warda', a maid and surrogate mother figure to the protagonist 'Asad', embodying resilience and maternal strength amidst hardship. Yousef plays 'Duria', a maid in 19th-century Egypt torn between her maternal instincts and the oppressive social order that forces her to hide her relationship with her cruel merchant son.
