President Sisi Honors Distinguished Egyptian Workers on Labor Day Celebration

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi honored a select group of the nation's workers during the annual Labor Day celebration, acknowledging their profound contributions to supporting Egypt's development trajectory, trade union activities, and service sectors. This gesture underscores the state's commitment to recognizing labor and trade union competencies and supporting exemplary individuals who have played a vital role in enhancing the work environment and fostering national progress.

Recognizing Key Figures in Labor and Development

The ceremony saw the granting of the Order of Labor, First Class, to several individuals, including Adel Abdel Fadil Ahmed, head of the General Syndicate of Workers in Finance, Taxes, and Customs. This was in appreciation for his active participation in drafting and refining various labor laws. Musa Mohamed Hassan was also honored, and the late Attia Abdel Bari was recognized posthumously. Furthermore, Safia El-Sayed Ahmed received the Order of Labor, Second Class, for her dedication to supporting working women's rights, alongside Adel Ahmed Omran, head of the General Syndicate of Bank Workers, for his efforts in developing regulations and improving worker efficiency.

Excellence Awards for Outstanding Contributions

President Sisi also bestowed the Order of Excellence, First Class, upon Karima Abdel Rahman Hassan from the Ministry of Labor, recognizing her significant role in organizing the labor market. Atiyat Sayed Mahmoud was awarded the Order of Excellence, Second Class, for her distinguished career in international relations and labor legislation. Wael Hammam Fouad also received the Order of Excellence, Third Class. These accolades collectively emphasize the state's dedication to celebrating and promoting outstanding individuals who drive progress across Egypt's labor and trade union sectors.
