Angolan striker Yelsin Camoes' impressive performance in Al Ahly's friendly match against ZED FC on Monday evening has ignited discussions about his potential return to the main squad for the upcoming crucial clash against Pyramids in the Egyptian Premier League. The friendly, which Al Ahly won 3-1 at Mokhtar El Tetsh stadium, saw Camoes play the entire first half, coming close to scoring on two occasions only to be denied by the post.
This resurgence follows a period where Camoes was excluded by Danish coach Jess Thorup for technical reasons, a decision that had previously sparked debate among fans. Sports media personality Ahmed Shobair has praised the player's significant improvement in recent training sessions, further bolstering Camoes' chances of re-entering Thorup's plans before the official squad announcement for the Pyramids match.
