London — Argentine midfielder Enzo Fernández is reportedly working to smooth over a recent disagreement with Chelsea's management after publicly hinting at a desire to play for Real Madrid. The player's comments had caused significant concern among Chelsea fans and officials.
Agent Confirms Resolution
Javier Pastore, who manages Fernández's affairs, told Spanish outlet "Mundo Deportivo" that the situation has been clarified. "We have an agreement with Chelsea, and we settled the matter yesterday. There was never any problem," Pastore stated. He added, "We have cleared things up; his statements were not based on any intention to cause problems at Chelsea. He is one of the team's leaders."
