The 13th edition of the Sports Industry Awards (SPIA) returned to Abu Dhabi, recognizing the most influential individuals and organizations within the Middle East's vibrant sports sector. Organized by Sport360X and Interact, the prestigious ceremony took place on Wednesday evening at the Space42 Arena, drawing over 500 guests. This annual event aims to honor those who are instrumental in shaping the future of sports across the region, celebrating their contributions to the industry's growth and innovation. The event was held in strategic partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, and received additional support from the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, underscoring the emirate's steadfast commitment to fostering a thriving sports environment.
Recognizing Excellence and Strategic Partnerships
Winners were announced across 26 distinct categories, selected by an independent judging panel comprising leading experts and pioneers in the Middle Eastern sports industry. Noteworthy recipients included the DP World Tour Championship, the 3rd Asian Youth Games Bahrain 2025, the ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon, and the ADK Stars Program. As a matter of fact, the evening commenced with opening remarks from Bassam Nawfal, General Manager of Sport360X, and Sally Corander, Founder and CEO of Interact, who both emphasized SPIA's role as a platform for excellence and networking. His Excellency Saeed Al Fazari, Executive Director of Strategic Affairs at the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, also addressed attendees, reiterating the emirate’s continuous dedication to developing and supporting the regional sports sector. Key sponsorships from Jetour Elite Group Holding (main sponsor), Motus One (gold sponsor), and MRamez Events and Spinneys (silver and bronze sponsors respectively) highlighted the robust collaboration driving the event's success.
