Liverpool's condition for extending Mohamed Salah's contract

 .British newspaper The Athletic reported on Wednesday that Egyptian star Mohamed Salah is on his way to sign a new contract with Liverpool that will keep him at Liverpool 

 . The newspaper also reported that Salah would agree to Liverpool's condition of extending his contract for only one season, after his current contract expires in June 2025.

“The Athletic” explained that although Salah agreed to the renewal, he feels angry at the way the club’s management dealt with the contract extension file.

The newspaper confirmed that Salah wants to continue his career with Liverpool, but he is not satisfied that the club has not made any offer to continue him so far.

Salah's (32-year-old) contract expires at the end of the current season, and he recently stated that the club has not yet offered him a new contract

It is worth noting that Egyptian international player Mohamed Salah scored 224 goals in 369 matches with Liverpool.

Despite the uncertainty over his future, he continues to perform well with the club since joining in 2017.

Salah said: “It is very special and I do not take it for granted. I enjoy every minute of my time here. I feel at home
