Egypt's Ministry of Interior, through its Public Security Sector and Criminal Investigation Departments, continues extensive security campaigns across various governorates. These operations aim to pursue criminal elements and outlaws, strengthening public safety nationwide.
Campaign Results and Seizures
Recent operations led to the apprehension of 16 individuals involved in thuggery and those evading judicial sentences. Forces successfully confiscated 301 kilograms of various illicit drugs intended for trafficking. Additionally, 99 unlicensed firearms were seized, including 98 single-barrel shotguns and one shotgun rifle. Legal measures have been initiated against the suspects, with the Public Prosecution commencing investigations.
