The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) warns that even if current conflicts were to cease immediately, the residual effects could plunge more than 32 million individuals globally into extreme poverty. This dire forecast is attributed to a "triple shock" encompassing significant energy disruptions, escalating food prices, and a substantial weakening of global economic growth across various sectors.
